Problem solving

 Solving technical problem 1

Because I got an overexposed image, I tried to edit it in Adobe photoshop to change the exposure. When I changed it, I noticed that the background slightly became pink, it looks like a pink shadow over that white sky. To solve this problem I will try to edit it in Adobe Photoshop again, but in different way.

Edited

The adjustments I made

I changed the exposure to just -1 to not get that light pink colour, blacks and whites to change the shadows, image's tones and add more depth.

To make the white background less visible or so that bright light doesn't pop out too much, I used Crop tool to change the size of the image, which makes it look more better.

Result

This is the overall result and I think it looks so much better now. Because I put the Black&white filter on, the overexposed look is not noticeable at all. Even with no colour we can see the slow motion the the bus and cars.

 Solving technical problem 2

This picture is too overexposed as well, because too much light went through the sensor of the camera and sometimes it can be caused by the practical mistake, such as incorrect camera settings. But because I had to take specifically slow shutter speed images, I had to keep the shutter speed very slow, and because its slow more light is captured but tall the movement is blurry.

To not have this mistake in future, I will have to prevent to take those pictures where its too much natural light such as sun. To solve this problem I'll try to edit it again and do the same technique as the first picture, like changing the color and cropping the image.

This is how I decided to crop it

And this is the cropped image

Result

This is my final result I used a different black&white filter, which is called "strong".

Solving aesthetic problem 3

I noticed that the caption in this poster is really big, because I created outlines and then made the text bigger. I will not change the name of the tittle, but I want to change the typeface so it looks beautiful and smaller.

I might also add the location where I took this picture after the title.

Final result

In my opinion, it looks so much better and the text doesn't take a lot of space in the image.

That's the typeface I decided to use.

Solving aesthetic problem 4

For my front cover I decided to remove the red stroke and keep it just full black text.

I feel like that the whole front page is filled with pictures look better. I also change the text and I chose "Acumin Variable Concept" - Extra Condensed Black for the heading. And for the bottom text I used the same font but different type, which is Wide Italic

This is my 2-3 pages of the magazine I did. I don't really like the different types of typeface, so I will choose 1-2 that I will be only using.

Before changing typeface, I want to change the position of the pictures and text, so the pages will not look too full.

Central London

These photographs were taken in Central London using slow shutter speed techniques to capture movement, light, and atmosphere. Instead of frezzing a moment and using fast shutter speed, the images show the flow of the city throught blurred motion and streaks of light. The busy streets, people, passing buses on the roads, and evening traffic create energy of pace of London night.

The best time to take pictures using slow shutter technique is 8 or 9 o'clock in the evening. Because you have more control ove the ISO settings, and when its getting darker it's easier to increase the brightnesss of the image. Also if you decide to take photos using slow shutter speed technique during sunny day, it will be harder to set up the ISO, because you will increase your slow shutter speed settings and camera sensor will increase he total amount of light that reaches the camera senorr, resulting in a brighter image.

3 pictures

These photographs were captured using my Canon 2000D, a camera that allowed both detail and movement to be recorded clerly in low-light environments. It's ability to handlelong exposure photography made it possible to capture the fast pace of Central London through soft motion blur and light trails. Using this camera that feel cinematic, energetic, and atmospheric while still keeping the architecture and surroundings visible within the frame.

To achieve the slow shutter speed effect, different camera settings were adjusted depending on the lighting and movement within each scene. Shutter sped played the biggest role in creating the flowing light trails amd motion blur, while aperture and ISO were balanced to maintain detail and exposure throught the photographs.

These images were taken in Cental London during the evening, where the constant movement of traffic, buses, and city lights created the perfect environment fo slow shutter photography. The streets were filled with energy, reflections, and motion, allowing everyday scenes to become more abstract through long exposure techniquess. Photographing in london at night helped me to capture the atmosphere of the city.

This is how it looks and next what I will change is the typeface of the heading and other text. I also removed the small captions of the camera settings under each picture, and left only one setting that I used for all of them.

I also changed to "Photography Magazine" instead of Exhibition magazine.

For my 4-5 pages, I want to change the typeface as well, because every different bit of text has a different style, which I don't like.

For my back cover, I want to extend the images, so it doesn't look like they are overlapping each other. I had two sam boxes of text, but in different colors and I'm planning to remove the one in green colour and leave just one in black colour, and change the typeface.
