Editing pictures in Adobe Photoshop
25/02/2026
Picture 1
To edit my pictures, I'm going to use Camera Raw Filter and it gives me more opportunity to edit them.
I wanted to change the exposure to -1 or -2, but because this picture is too overexposed, it makes the background look like its pink and it is because of the too much light that I got in that picture. In my opinion, I don't think that this picture is edited good, because of what I got on the background (the light pink over the white background).
Picture 2
This picture is overexposed as well, but this is what I changed to make it look better. I used temperature and Saturation to add more colour to it, because it was a bit dull. I tried to use exposure as well to make it a bit darker, but the background still looks too light.
Picture 3
I used exposure to make it a bit lighter, and I also used saturation to make it very warm and colorful. I really like how the lights from the train are dragged behind.
Picture 4
This is a similar picture, but I wanted to experiment with black&white effect and see how it will change the mood and how it will look like with no colour. We can see here as well how the lights from the train are pulled behind, which makes the train more noticeable even when it's blurred.
Picture 5
Because of the slow shutter speed, I really like to see how the lights from the top and the bottom of the train are smudged and blurry at the same time. I only changed the exposure and added B&W effect, because I wanted to see how it will look like without colors and how it will change the mood, and we can also see people there which gives more effect to the picture.
To experiment more, I wanted to make like a 'cool' effect, so I used Colour Grading to add more blue colour to the picture and it gives that 'cold effect'. I also like the reflection from the ceiling lights along the train. I think this picture turned out so good and I wouldn't change anything there.
Picture 6
I really like how I took this picture in low angle and I wanted to try to edit this picture in a cinematic way. Firstly, I changed exposure to make it a bit lighter. Then, in Colour Grading section I adjusted Shadows to blue/teal colour and Highlights to yellow/orange colour to add more colour to the picture. To add more atmosphere I used Dehaze and Vignette effects and you can see how the corners in the picture are slightly darker, which makes it look in more cinematic way.
You can see lots of different people from those pictures are how everyone is different, which is showing us the movement.
Picture 7
Both pictures are edited, I added Grain Effect to the second one to add texture. I also put edited picture, but without the grain effect and you can see how it has completely changed. The lights, the building, the background and reflection. To see the change, I put the same pictures, but because they are edited different just by one effect, thats what makes them different.

Pictures
I really like all of the pictures I took, but some of them are underexposed or overexposed. The lens I was shooting with is Canon lens - 70-200mm Image Stabilizer Ultrasonic
Videos
To experiment more with the Canon lens - 70-200mm Image Stabilizer Ultrasonic, a took a lot of different videos around college of students. I wanted to see how it works and how it zooms in. I wanted to capture the student life in college, but I only took videos outside. In those videos we can see how everyone is talking, walking or just sitting around in groups.
Pictures from Hyde park using slow shutter speed

I really like most of the pictures and they have a great quality. Not all of them are good because it was a really sunny day and that's why some pictures are overexposed, even though I tried to change the settings. I'm going to edit some of the pictures and experiment more, so they don't look too overexposed.

I really like how the tree in the middle frames the picture, I changes the exposure and I added Saturation and Temperature to make the picture look more colorful.
3.
This is a similar picture to the previous one, but I wanted to try and see how it will look like with the black&white filter. I changed the exposure a little bit, and also used Vignette to add more effect on the corners on the picture, and they slightly look darker than the centre of the image.

Posters in Adobe InDesign
16/04/2026
Poster 1
This is how it looks so far, I will use one font for every text but the "Hyde Park" text I changed it to bold. The name of the typeface is "Bodoni 72".
To experiment more, I added Stroke around the text and the type of Stroke is "Wavy". I also tried to change the colour of the gap and I decided to fill it up with green colour.
Result
This is my result and I like how simple it looks, I used the Stroke effect to add more colors to the poster and make it look more interesting.
Poster 2
For the text, I used the same typeface

I'm really satisfied with the drawing from the red colour that my model did. To get this kind of effect she moved the stick to left and right, or in circles where you can see the last 3 images.

Editing light painting portraits
23/04/2026
Picture 1
This is my first time using Adobe Lightroom, so everything is new to me and I want to see how this app works. The "Library" at the tor right is from where you can import your picture to edit it. I picked one picture where we can see light painting portraits.
When I clicked "Develop" at the top it showed me different settings that I can change for the image.
Those are the adjustments I changed so far, and the picture I got is just red, bu you can still see the red light from the lighting stick.

Editing slow shutter speed pictures in Adobe Lightroom

Picture 1
I used Crop Tool to change the size of an image.
Result
I really like how the original picture looks like, but I want to change the exposure, temperature, texture and sharpen the image. When I will edit the other pictures, I'll try to edit differently so they look more interesting and I might crop an image if I don't want something to be there.

I tried to use one preset to see how it looks like and the name is Vintage: VN03. I really like how this filter made my picture look so warm and it really suits to the slow shutter speed style.

More experimenting
Here I tried to change the typeface to Acumin Variable Concept (Extra light) and also change the position the caption above the building to make it look more interesting.
then I chose Type on the Path Tool to add the text on the line.
I really like how this made the text look like its dragged.
Making my magazine spread in Adobe InDesign
29/04/2026
My front cover
My 6-7 pages
My back page
This is not final look of my magazine, but I'm trying to plan where my pictures and text will be. I want my 2 spreads to have different pictures, for example the first 2-3 pages will be the pictures that I took in central London with slow shutter speed technique, and I also planning to add text about this technique or the process how I did it. The next 4-5 pages will have the light painting photography and I will add text there as well.
And the last 6-7 pages I'm planning to have images from the fun fair attractions. I want to have a variety of photos to show how slow shutter speed look in different lighting and environment. I really like how the lights on outside can be very colorful and bright, especially in the evening.
Working on my magazine
30/04/2026
For my second page, I already added some of my text, I was talking about where I took those images, what time it is better to take them and how a sunny day affects your pictures using slow shutter speed technique. I really like the pattern of how I placed the images and text boxes next to them on page 3. I didn't add text on page 3, but I will talk about the images in general and I can also talk about the setting and it will be easier to understand what I changed in those settings.
By the information and text I will say, I want to make it easier for someone who will read it. Also the variety of images also will give you more ideas of what you can take pictures of. To say more, it is better not to rush, because the more you wait, the better you will get and it'll be worth waiting to get a perfect shot.
For my third and fourth pages, I will put my light painting photography and you can see a big title on the left side. Those are not my final pictures I will use, but I might take a few more using this technique, so it look more interesting when I have different models, lights or shapes.
Creating my own website with pictures
05/05/2026
I will be using Wix to create my website about slow shutter speed pictures. This is the template I will be using and it look simple and easy to look at. When you press on one of the images it opens to a different page with more picture.
